ER316: Refers to 18Cr-12Ni-2.5Mo stainless steel welding wire with a Mo content of 2% -3%, suitable for welding 316/316L stainless steel. The chemical composition includes C ≤ 0.030% Si≤1.00%、Mn≤2.00%、P≤0.045%、S≤0.030%、Cr 16.00-18.00%、Ni 10.00-14.00%、Mo 2.00-3.00% .

ER316L: represents low-carbon 18Cr-12Ni-2.5Mo stainless steel welding wire, used for welding 316L stainless steel. The chemical composition includes C ≤ 0.030% Si≤1.00%、Mn≤2.00%、P≤0.045%、S≤0.030%、Cr 16.00-18.00%、Ni 10.00-14.00%、Mo 2.50-3.50% .

ER309: Represents 22Cr-12Ni stainless steel welding wire, used for welding materials with high Cr content in stainless steel. The chemical composition includes C ≤ 0.12%, Si ≤ 1.50%, Mn ≤ 2.50%, P ≤ 0.045%, S ≤ 0.035%, Cr 22.5% -24.5%, Ni 12.5% -14.5%.

ER317: Represents 18Cr-12Ni-3Mo stainless steel welding wire, suitable for materials with excellent corrosion resistance such as acetic acid, sulfurous acid, phosphoric acid, and salts. The chemical composition includes C ≤ 0.04% -0.12%, Si ≤ 1.5%, Mn ≤ 2.5%, P ≤ 0.045%, S ≤ 0.035%, Cr 18% -22%, Ni 12% -14%, Mo 3% -4%.

These welding wires need to pay attention to the purity of the shielding gas and the ratio of the mixed gas during the welding process. It is usually recommended to use a mixed gas of Ar+1-3% O2, with a gas flow rate of 20-25L/min and a dry extension length of 15-25mm. The rust layer, moisture, oil stains, dust, etc. at the welding site need to be cleaned up. When welding outdoors with a wind speed greater than 1.5m/s, windproof measures should be taken to prevent porosity.
